Blue Bucket Painters LLC was built on hard work, resilience, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Born in Liberia in 1998, I came to the United States through adoption in 2006 and grew up in Northern California. I was raised by an incredible single mother who brought up six boys — three from Liberia and three from Sierra Leone — teaching us the value of discipline, community, and perseverance from an early age. Those lessons continue to shape how I approach both life and business today.

At 18 years old, I moved across the country to Holyoke, Massachusetts to pursue my dream of earning a college degree and building a future for myself. I put myself through community college at Holyoke Community College before transferring to the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, where I earned my degree in Sports Management.

While attending UMass Amherst, I had the opportunity to intern with a student painting company. That experience changed everything. I built and managed my own team of painters, booking and completing residential painting projects throughout Western Massachusetts over a 6–7-month season. It was during this time that I discovered not only a passion for painting but also for leadership, customer service, and helping homeowners transform their spaces.

After graduating in 2022, I decided to stay in Massachusetts — a place that had become home. I gained valuable professional experience working in corporate environments with companies like Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Cintas First Aid & Safety, developing strong skills in customer relations, operations, and business management.

Today, Blue Bucket Painters LLC combines that professional experience with hands-on craftsmanship and a commitment to quality. Our mission is simple: deliver reliable, high-quality painting services while treating every home and client with honesty, respect, and pride.
